Support for Living Expenses

Supporting Education Expenses

(March 12, 2018) The Road Home Foundation for Injured Warriors and Families provided financial assistance for a seriously injured United States Army veteran who was struggling with unpaid education expenses. We were able to negotiate on his behalf to the lower one bill and paid the remaining balance of  two debts totally $6,300.

A New Fence for an Injured Marine and his Family

(February 23, 2018) In February, The Road Home Foundation Board of Directors approved a grant of $14,806 to assist a seriously injured United States Marine and his family with the installation of a fence around their property, so that the children can use the yard in relative safety.

Helping a U.S. Army Veteran with Housing & Other Expenses

(October 27, 2018)  The Road Home Foundation for Injured Warriors and Families is focused on providing support ‘in time of need’ for our community of soldiers. In October of 2017, with approval from the board of directors, $10,728 was awarded to assist a seriously injured United States Army veteran with housing and utilities expenses.

A New Wheelchair for a United States Marine

August 4, 2017: The Board of Directors for The Road Home Foundation for Injured Warriors and Families approved a grant of $12,940 to provide a seriously wounded United States Marine with a new wheelchair.  The chair is specifically equipped for his needs and ordered in August 2017.

Award Grant for Family of U.S. Army Veteran

May, 2017: The Road Home Foundation for Injured Warriors and Families’ Board of Directors approved an award of $6,075 for support of the family of a United States Army veteran with rent payments following his death.  The veteran died from a heart attack shortly after his return from deployment.
