  • Provide funding to assist with living expenses while the veteran furthers his/her education
  • Provide funding to assist with the purchase of school supplies not ordinarily covered by government programs
  • Support and partner with existing training, education and entrepreneurship programs to accelerate job and entrepreneurship opportunities for injured veterans and immediate family members
  • Provide funding and training for additional life skill training in areas such as financial management and stress reduction skills

 

QUALITY OF LIFE

  • Provide funding for any endeavor that will improve the injured warrior’s quality of life, physical and emotional well being and/or simply improve his/her morale

 

HOUSING

    housing

  • Provide grants to the injured warrior and/or immediate family members for mortgage, rent, utilities and/or hotel expenses while the injured warrior recovers from his/her injuries
  • Contribute to organizations that undertake the task of building the injured warrior a handicapped accessible home
  • Provide funding for labor, materials and/or services to retrofit the injured warrior’s home so that he or she can live with dignity and comfort

 

MOBILITY/TRANSPORTATION

    mobility

  • Provide funding to assist the injured warrior and/or his/her family with extraordinary travel expenses
  • Provide funding for handicapped accessible vehicles for the injured warrior
  • Provide the injured veteran proper accessories/equipment for easier mobility

 

REFERRAL SERVICES

    legal

  • Provide assistance to the injured and his/her family in obtaining covered services from government agencies/programs.
  • Provide assistance to the injured and his/her family in obtaining services from third parties that are not covered by government agencies/programs. This could include the following:
    • Housing assistance/referral
    • Medical
    • Legal
    • Financial
